Evening/Overnight On-Call Registered Nurse – SDS/PACU Ambulatory Surgical Center

JOB TITLE: Evening/Overnight On-Call RN – SDS/PACU

GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES:  

Join our fast-paced orthopedic ambulatory surgery center as a part-time RN providing 1830–2230 evening coverage in SDS/PACU. Patient volume will vary, allowing for some downtime when there are no patients. During these times, the RN may assist with post-operative follow-up calls, preparing the facility for the next day, and other department needs.

The position also includes overnight on-call coverage from 2230–0630. You will know before leaving for the evening whether an overnight patient will require care. If needed, two nurses will provide care for 1–3 overnight patients. On-call availability is compensated at 1 hour of pay, with time worked overnight paid at time and a half.
