Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kindergarten (KG) Teacher to facilitate early childhood learning through interactive lessons, storytelling, play-based activities, and hands-on experiences. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of child development and be able to create a warm and inclusive classroom environment that fosters curiosity and social-emotional growth.

Responsibilities

Curriculum Delivery: Plan and execute age-appropriate lesson plans that focus on literacy, numeracy, motor skills, and social-emotional development. Engaging Learning Methods: Utilize storytelling, music, art, play-based activities, and interactive games to enhance learning. Student Development: Monitor and assess each child’s progress, ensuring they meet developmental milestones.

Classroom Environment: Maintain a positive, safe, and structured classroom that encourages creativity and collaboration. Parental Communication: Regularly update parents on their child’s progress through meetings, reports, and feedback sessions. Extracurricular Activities: Organize and participate in school events, celebrations, and field trips for holistic learning.

Behavioral Guidance: Encourage positive behavior and social skills through patience, empathy, and effective classroom management. Collaboration: Work closely with fellow teachers, administrators, and support staff to ensure a well-rounded learning experience for children.

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Montessori Training, or a related field. Diploma in Nursery Teacher Training (NTT), Early Childhood Care & Education (ECCE), or B.Ed. in Early Childhood Education is preferred. Experience: 2+ years of teaching experience in Kindergarten or Preschool. Strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate teaching strategies.

Skills: Excellent communication and storytelling skills. Creativity in lesson planning and classroom activities. Patience and a nurturing attitude toward young learners. Strong organizational and classroom management skills. Screening Process: Demo Class: Conduct a sample lesson to demonstrate teaching techniques. Interview: Assessment of experience, teaching methodology, and understanding of early childhood education.
