  • Borg. Warner . Job Purpose The System Bench Engineering Architect ( SyBEA ) is responsible for ensuring that all system test benches are designed and implemented to meet project requirements. This role is involved in bench architecture definition, component procurement, and the installation and deployment of test benches. Throughout the development of electrification products (traction inverters) , the SyBEA works closely with System Development, System Test, Hardware, and Software teams to ensure effective solutions and support successful project execution.

Key responsibilities

Design and develop test bench concepts and architectures Create and maintain technical documentation, electrical schematics, CAD designs and BOMs Build, modify, troubleshoot, and maintain LV/HV test benches and laboratory equipment Design custom components and fixtures using CAD and 3D printing technologies Perform hands-on electrical and mechanical work, including wiring, soldering and assembly Support HV testing activities while ensuring compliance with safety standards Manage procurement of test bench equipment, components, and laboratory infrastructure Administer engineering software licenses and laboratory assets Drive continuous improvement and standardization of test environments across projects Provide technical expertise and support for test bench-related issues and infrastructure development What we’re looking for Electrical or electronic background is required Previous experience as a Hardware Technician is required Fluency in English is required Hands-on experience and the ability to work effectively in a laboratory environment are required Hands-on experience with measurement and diagnostic equipment, including oscilloscopes, multimeters, analyzers, data loggers, and power supplies Experience in designing and building test stands integrating mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical components Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Good understanding of safety standards and high voltage requirements Experience with dSPACE, National Instruments and Vector tools Willingness to travel occasionally, both domestically and internationally What we offer Private Medicover medical care for the employee and his/ her family.
