Solid Waste Equipment Operator I

Provides reliable, efficient, and cost-effective collection, transportation, and disposal of material. This position is responsible for providing service to residential and commercial customers and is required to be able to operate the equipment required to complete this work. Drivers will typically have an assigned route and as needed, will perform related tasks.

Work is performed under the general direction of the Solid Waste Manager, Solid Waste Superintendent and Solid Waste Supervisors.
