It has designed, built and installed more offshore cathodic protection systems than any other company and provides highly respected corrosion investigation and subsea inspection services.
The Role The Quality Control (QC) Inspector / Technician is responsible for supporting quality assurance activities by inspecting materials, components, and finished products to ensure compliance with company standards, customer requirements, and applicable regulations. This is an entry-level position designed for individuals beginning a career in quality control within a manufacturing, production, or technical environment.
You will be responsible for: Inspection & Testing Perform visual and dimensional inspections of incoming materials and finished products Verify parts and products against drawings, specifications, and work instructions Use basic measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) Identify and document non-conforming materials or products Assist with basic functional or performance testing as required Documentation & Reporting Accurately record inspection results in quality systems or logs Complete inspection reports and maintain organized quality records Report quality issues to supervisors or quality management Assist in tracking corrective actions and follow-up activities Process & Compliance Support Ensure work is performed in accordance with company procedures and safety standards Support internal audits and quality improvement initiatives Assist in maintaining calibration records for inspection tools (as applicable) Maintain a clean and organized inspection area Experience & Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Technical diploma or coursework in quality, manufacturing, or engineering preferred 0–2 years of experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or quality environment (entry-level candidates encouraged to apply) Basic math skills and ability to read measurements Ability to read and interpret simple technical drawings preferred Strong attention to detail Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to [30–50 lbs] as required
