Equipment Operator - Utilities

Reporting to the Utilities Lead Hand, the Equipment Operator operates municipal works equipment as required within the Public Works Department. The Equipment Operator will be primarily responsible for operating excavation equipment within the Utilities Crew, which includes excavating near and around underground water, sanitary, storm and shallow utilities by others, including utility repairs, and infrastructure installations.

When not operating excavation equipment the operator will take part in operation and maintenance activities of water and wastewater systems.
