Emergency Department Patient Access and Coordinator, Full-Time

The ED Patient Access and Coordinator is responsible for greeting patients in the Emergency Department, placing them in rooms, answering the Emergency Department and hospital main telephone lines, assembling patient charts, facilitating patient discharges and transfers, and performing registration duties. This position requires exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills.

The Admissions Representative will communicate in a compassionate and professional manner with patients and other hospital staff. Works alongside the nurses and providers of the ED, Family Birth Center, and Medical/Surgical Unit.
