Registered Nurse - Family Birthing Center- Full Time- Variable shifts

Summary of Position:  The Perinatal Nurse provides professional nursing care to patients through the Labor and Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum and Nursery, by utilizing the established facility and AWHONN policies, procedures and guidelines, ensuring safe and effective care. The Nurse performs antenatal testing, monitors maternal and neonatal wellbeing during labor and provides individualized care structured to each patient’s unique situation and requests in order to achieve a safe and positive birthing experience for the family unit.

The Nurse provides postpartum care and education based on individual needs and department standards. The Nurse provides newborn care based on individual needs and departmental standards.
