We're looking for a Logistics Specialist to join our team in Corby, playing a key role in coordinating inbound and outbound logistics operations and ensuring the seamless movement of goods across the business.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics activities to ensure the timely movement of goods. Manage inventory levels to maintain an efficient and reliable supply of products and materials. Oversee warehousing and transportation processes to support operational requirements. Control the end-to-end flow of goods, including receiving, storage, location management and dispatch.

Support sourcing and purchasing activities to ensure the availability of raw materials, component parts and finished goods. Monitor and optimise inventory levels to balance customer demand with operational efficiency. Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure compliance with inventory control procedures. Work closely with internal teams and external suppliers to improve logistics performance and resolve supply chain issues.

Identify opportunities to improve logistics processes, reduce costs and enhance service levels.

About you

Transport manager CPC qualification Previous experience in logistics, supply chain, warehouse operations or inventory management. Strong organisational and planning skills with excellent attention to detail. Experience coordinating transportation and inventory control activities. Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with experience using ERP or warehouse management systems being advantageous. The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
