Specialty Family Medicine - Hospitalist

Practice Details Sanford Health has openings for Hospitalists (multiple positions available) to provide medical care to patients of Fargo, ND and the surrounding area. M.D., or equivalent foreign medical degree, as well as completion of a residency program in either Internal Medicine or Family Medicine. Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in North Dakota and BC/BE

Job Description The Adult Hospitalist Physician provides comprehensive, inpatient care for adult patients in a hospital setting. This role focuses on the management of acute and chronic medical conditions, coordination of care with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring high-quality, patient-centered outcomes throughout hospitalization.

Qualifications

M.D. or D.O. degree. Successful completion of an accredited residency in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine. Current medical license in each state of practice. State Controlled Substance License (if required by State) Current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) permit to prescribe controlled substances in each state of practice. Board Certified in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine; or Board Certified in Family Medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine; or equivalent (American Osteopathic Board, Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada). Privileging documents and related credentialing requirements will supersede this job description in defining minimum qualifications, criteria, and scope of practice, if variation between documents exists
