Posting Title: Gynecologist Industry: Hospital Salary: ₹ 350,000 to 400,000 LPM Work Experience: 1+ year --- ### Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and emergency gynecological surgeries, including Caesarean Sections, Hysterectomies, Myomectomies, and Laparoscopic procedures.
  • Provide comprehensive prenatal and postnatal care, including high-risk pregnancy management and delivery support.
  • Conduct routine gynecological check-ups, fertility assessments, and preventive screenings (e.g., Pap smears, ultrasounds).
  • Manage acute gynecological emergencies in the Outpatient Department (OPD) and Emergency Room (ER), including ectopic pregnancies, postpartum hemorrhage, and acute pelvic inflammatory disease.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including obstetricians, neonatologists, anesthesiologists, and nursing staff, to ensure coordinated patient care.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date medical records and documentation in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and emergency duty as required.
  • Stay current with medical advancements, guidelines, and best practices in gynecology and obstetrics through continuous professional development.
  • Mentor junior medical staff and medical students during clinical training and case discussions. --- ### Requirements
  • MBBS degree with a recognized postgraduate qualification in Obstetrics and Gynecology (DGO/MD/DM in OBGYN).
  • Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in a hospital or clinical setting, with proven experience in emergency gynecological care and surgical procedures.
  • Proficiency in performing Caesarean Sections, Hysterectomies, and laparoscopic surgeries.
  • Strong understanding of prenatal and postnatal care protocols, including management of high-risk pregnancies.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage emergency obstetric and gynecological cases in fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to provide empathetic, patient-centered care.
  • Valid registration with the Medical Council of India (or equivalent state medical council).
  • Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and hospital information systems.
  • Willingness to participate in on-call duties and emergency rotations. ---
