Bookkeeper/Project Manager

Job Overview We're looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeping & Project Administrator to support the daily finance, bookkeeping, and project administration functions. In this role, you'll maintain accurate financial records, track project costs, process contractor invoices, manage administrative workflows, and provide essential support to both the finance and project management teams.

Key Responsibilities

Track purchase orders, contractor hours, project costs, variations, and expense claims. Process contractor invoices by verifying them against purchase orders and approved work, resolving discrepancies when needed. Record and reconcile project financial transactions to ensure accurate financial reporting. Maintain project records and provide financial and administrative support to project managers.

Manage the finance and administration email inbox, responding to enquiries and allocating tasks appropriately. Provide day-to-day finance, bookkeeping, and administrative support to the finance and project management teams.

Requirements

Qualifications Previous experience in bookkeeping, finance, accounting, or project administration. Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.

Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with finance and project teams.
