Intelligence Transportation System (ITS) Technician PRTC

The Technology & Electronics Technician provides comprehensive electrical, electronic, mechanical, and technology support for transit fleet operations. This position is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, installing, testing, and maintaining a wide range of onboard vehicle technologies and communication systems, including fare collection equipment, destination signs, camera systems, radios, routers, tablets, AVL/CAD systems, GPS equipment, and other electronic components.

The technician supports preventive maintenance programs, performs advanced troubleshooting, completes retrofit campaigns, and ensures all fleet technology systems operate safely and efficiently.
