Summary Job Description: Registered Nurse

• NICU Part-Time 7p - 7a Call Required This position involves rotation in the Mother Baby Care unit. The Registered Nurse has the responsibility and accountability for direct comprehensive nursing care for the patient from admission to discharge. Reviews and documents care provided, outcomes of care, and evaluations of care. Follows the professional standards of care. Demonstrates ability to prioritize care based on changing assessment and needs of patients. Having ongoing communication with physicians and other departments in the hospital.

Requirements

Associate of Science in Nursing (ADN) degree from an accredited institution. Current unrestricted licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Kentucky required. Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 days of hire. Neonatal Resuscitation required within 90 days of hire. S.T.A.B.L.E required within 90 days of hire. Must obtain Crisis Prevention within 6 months of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

Recent experience in specialty preferred.
