Position Summary

We are seeking a Front Office Assistant who is detail-oriented, organized, and customer-service driven. As the first point of contact for patients, this role plays a key part in ensuring a positive experience while supporting the day-to-day administrative operations of the office.

Key Responsibilities

Greet, register, and check-in patients in a professional and friendly manner Process patient check-outs and schedule follow-up appointments Answer phone calls, address inquiries, and schedule appointments efficiently Verify insurance information and handle prior authorization processes Maintain accurate and confidential electronic medical records (EMR) Collect co-pays, outstanding balances, and required documentation Keep the reception area clean, welcoming, and organized Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and support office operations Qualifications Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting required OB/GYN experience preferred Proficient in electronic health record systems, preferably Athena.
