Autonomous Sensor Fusion Engineer

As part of our mission to revolutionize transportation, we are seeking a highly skilled Autonomous Sensor Fusion Engineer to join our cutting-edge autonomy team. In this role, you will work on developing and optimizing sensor fusion algorithms that combine data from LiDARs, cameras, radars, and other sensors to enable accurate perception and localization for autonomous vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

• Select the sensors based on the requirements.
• Optimize sensor performance and calibration to ensure reliability and precision.
• Design algorithms for sensor fusion and data integration.
• Develop systems for object detection, tracking, and classification using sensor data.
• Collaborate with software and hardware teams to integrate sensor systems with the pod’s autonomous driving algorithms.
• Perform testing and validation to ensure sensor fusion algorithms meet safety standards.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Robotics, Computer Science, or a related field. Minimum 2+ years of experience. Strong experience with sensor fusion techniques (Kalman filtering, particle filtering, etc.) Expertise in working with LIDAR, Radar, Camera, GPS, IMU and other sensor technologies. Familiarity with ROS, OpenCV, or other robotics frameworks.

Experience in real-time systems and embedded software development.
