Temporary Cook

Join Our Team Supporting U.S. Military Dining Operations LPR International is seeking experienced Temporary/Contingency Cooks to support Dining Facility operations at RAF Lakenheath and RAF Mildenhall. This six-month assignment is ideal for dependable cooks who enjoy a busy, team-oriented kitchen environment and can provide coverage for staffing shortages, planned absences and other operational requirements.

What You'll Do

Prepare and cook meals using established Air Force recipes and production standards Support high-volume meal production and service Operate commercial kitchen equipment safely Prepare flight and ground meals as required Maintain food quality, presentation and portion standards Follow HACCP, food safety and sanitation requirements Assist with inventory and production planning Work as part of a professional dining facility team What We're Looking For Minimum 3 years of traceable cooking experience Legal right to work in the UK Ability to meet RAF installation access/background requirements Good English communication skills Dependable, flexible and able to work in a fast-paced kitchen Able to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 25kg Preferred: High-volume or institutional kitchen experience, NVQ/City & Guilds qualification, military food-service experience or HACCP knowledge.

Schedule Morning Shift: 05:00-14:00 | Day Shift: 10:30-19:30 This is a 365-day operation, so weekend and holiday availability may be required.
