Posting Title: Radiologist Industry: Hospital Salary: ₹350,000 to ₹350,000 LPM Work Experience: 1+ year Required Skills: USG, CT, X-ray, MRI --- Responsibilities:
- Perform and interpret diagnostic imaging studies including Ultrasound (USG), Computed Tomography (CT), X-ray, and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI).
- Provide accurate, timely, and comprehensive radiological reports for clinical decision-making.
- Collaborate with referring physicians, surgeons, and other healthcare providers to ensure optimal imaging protocols and patient management.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment in compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and tumor boards to support treatment planning.
- Stay current with advancements in radiological techniques, protocols, and emerging technologies.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory, ethical, and institutional guidelines for patient privacy and imaging safety.
- Contribute to quality assurance programs and continuous improvement initiatives within the radiology department.
- Mentor and support junior radiology staff, residents, and medical students when applicable. --- Requirements:
- MBBS degree with a recognized postgraduate qualification in Radiology (D.M. or DNB in Radiology).
- Minimum of 1 year of post-graduation clinical experience in a hospital or diagnostic imaging setting.
- Proficiency in interpreting USG, CT, X-ray, and MRI scans across multiple body systems (neuro, musculoskeletal, abdominal, thoracic, etc.).
- Strong understanding of radiation safety, dose optimization, and imaging protocol design.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to convey complex findings clearly.
- Valid registration with the Medical Council of India (MCI) or equivalent regulatory body.
- Familiarity with PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication Systems) and RIS (Radiology Information Systems).
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced clinical environment with rotating shifts, including nights and weekends as required.
