Up to $1,500 Sign-On Bonus if hired externally Cook I, Cafeteria, Full-Time, Various Shifts, Baptist Downtown Baptist Medical Center is looking to add a Cook to our Dietary Department at Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville.

This is a Full-Time opportunity working primarily day shift times from approximately 9:30am to 6:00pm with rotating weekends and holidays. Evening shift coverage may be required as needed. The ideal candidate will have experience as a line cook or grill cook working in a restaurant. Serv. Safe certification is a plus.

As a Cook I, you will be responsible for: Measuring, mixing, portioning and cooking according to provided recipes and production charts for patients, guests, and staff. Working clean, safe, and sanitary in accordance with department policies Filling out all logs, production charts, cleaning schedules, etc assigned by management in accordance with department policies and procedures Providing excellent customer service to our guests, patients, and staff Working in a fast-paced environment Taking ownership of their area -- this position will be responsible for prepping, cooking, and engaging with customers Experience Requirements: Less than 1 year Food Service Experience Preferred Less than 1 year Cooking Experience Preferred Education & Credential Requirements: High School Diploma/GED Preferred This Cook I will be located at Baptist Jacksonville.
