Job Overview: Job Summary:** The Foreman (Night Shift) 43427 APEX

  • Primoris Energy Services will lead and supervise a crew of skilled craft workers on various energy services projects during nighttime operations, ensuring safety, quality, and project schedule adherence. Job Responsibilities:** * Directly supervise and coordinate the activities of assigned craft workers (e.g., pipefitters, welders, electricians, heavy equipment operators) during night shifts. * Plan, schedule, and assign work tasks, ensuring efficient utilization of personnel, equipment, and materials. * Monitor and enforce strict adherence to all company safety policies, procedures, and OSHA regulations. Conduct regular safety briefings and toolbox talks. * Interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders to ensure accurate execution of project plans. * Track project progress, identify potential issues, and implement solutions to maintain project schedule and budget. * Inspect work in progress and completed work to ensure quality standards and specifications are met. * Operate various tools and equipment safely and proficiently as needed. * Communicate effectively with project managers, superintendents, and other foremen regarding project status, concerns, and resource needs. * Train and mentor crew members, fostering a skilled and productive workforce. * Complete daily reports, timecards, and other necessary documentation accurately and on time. * Troubleshoot operational problems and make sound decisions under pressure. * Manage and maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working order. Job Qualifications:** * Minimum of 5 years of experience in the energy services industry, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role. * Proven experience working night shifts and managing night crews. * Strong understanding of construction methods, techniques, and procedures relevant to energy services projects. * Demonstrated knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a heavy industrial or construction environment (OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred). * Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications. * Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. * Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a demanding environment. * Proficiency in basic computer applications for reporting and communication. * Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check. * Valid driver's license required. * Ability to work extended hours and weekends as needed to meet project deadlines.
