New Construction HVAC Estimator Apprentice

R.J. Kielty Plumbing, Air & Electric is looking for a motivated New Construction HVAC Estimator Apprentice to join our New Port Richey office. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with HVAC field experience who is ready to develop a career in estimating.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with preparing accurate HVAC estimates for residential new-construction projects Review construction plans, specifications, and equipment requirements Perform material takeoffs and help calculate labor and equipment costs Enter and maintain project information in estimating and bid-tracking software Communicate with builders, vendors, and internal team members Help ensure bids are accurate, complete, and submitted on time Qualifications: Strong computer skills are required Prior HVAC installation experience is preferred Ability to read, or willingness to learn how to read, construction plans Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Comfortable working with numbers, measurements, and deadlines Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities Willingness to learn HVAC estimating software and industry requirements Dependable, professional, and team-oriented Must be able to pass a drug test R.
