Registered Resp. Therapist (RRT)

Provides respiratory care services to patients with disorders of the cardiopulmonary system. Under qualified medical direction, performs diagnostic testing, therapeutics, monitoring, and rehabilitation. Participates in the development of patient’s appropriate plans of care in conjunction with physicians and other members of the health care team.

Partakes in research projects, preceptor for students and new orientees; conducts patient and family education activities.
