Role: Graduate Trainee – Cloud Test Engineering Team: Cloud Platforms What you’ll do Perform manual functional testing of cloud-native microservices Simulate real-world data and traffic scenarios Build internal tools and utilities for cloud services Automate test cases using Python and modern frameworks Log high-quality defects with clear steps-to-reproduce Collaborate closely with developers and global QA teams Participate in test planning, regression, and release smoke testing Join daily stand-ups and sprint ceremonies with US/India teams Must-have skills & eligibility B.

E/B.Tech or M.E/M.Tech/MCA (CS/IT/ECE or related streams) – 2024 or 2025 passed out only Minimum 8.5 CGPA / 10th, 12th and graduation (no active backlogs) Strong fundamentals in programming, data structures, DBMS & SQL Solid understanding of SDLC and STLC Hands-on coding experience in Python (academic projects/internships acceptable) Excellent analytical & problem-solving skills Strong written and verbal English communication Good to have Exposure to Cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP) concepts Familiarity with REST APIs and tools like Postman Experience with Jira, Git, Jenkins or any test automation framework Contribution to open-source or personal projects on GitHub Why join Calix as a fresher?
