Recruit. Net International Ltd specialises in Healthcare recruitment for Domestic and Overseas candidates for Hospitals, Nursing Homes, Home care and Community care. We are hiring a Staff Nurse for one of the best Nursing Homes in South Dublin who is passionate about improving the quality of life of their residents and places a strong importance on social, physical, and mental stimulation.
Responsibilities
Provide person-centred, high-quality nursing care to individuals living with dementia, including the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of tailored care plans. Deliver compassionate and professional nursing support that addresses patients’ physical, emotional, and psychological needs with empathy and respect.
Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams—such as physicians, therapists, and support staff—to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care. Demonstrate strong clinical assessment skills and critical-thinking abilities, consistently applying a person-centred approach to care. Maintain flexibility, adaptability, and a positive outlook when responding to challenges and evolving needs within dementia care.
Requirements
The role requires a cheerful, caring, positive, dependable, and compassionate nurse who enjoys supporting elderly residents through person-centred care, promoting independence, and enhancing their quality of life. Ideally has 1+ years of experience in elder care, though applicants new to this career path are also welcome.
Holds a recognised nursing qualification. Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI). Able to obtain Garda Clearance. Provides suitable character references. Fluent in English. This position is only open to applicants with EU/EEA citizenship or those who already hold an existing, unrestricted right to work in Ireland due to immediate service requirements.
