Looking for an active, hands-on role where no two days are the same? Join our harvest team at Proserpine Prawn Farm and play an important part in bringing premium Australian prawns from pond to processing. Working as part of our Partial Harvest Crew, you'll spend your days in and around the ponds setting, checking and emptying harvest nets, helping prepare prawns for collection and supporting the wider harvest operation.

Full training will be provided, making this a great opportunity for someone who enjoys physical outdoor work and being part of a hardworking team. Located between Airlie Beach and Bowen, you'll enjoy working in the beautiful Whitsundays while gaining experience in one of Australia's largest prawn farming operations. Why join us?

You'll work a rotating Monday to Friday roster: Week 1: 3:00am - 11:30am Week 2: 8:00am - 4:30pm This rotation continues throughout the season. Weekend work and overtime may be required during peak harvest periods. What will you be doing? Setting, checking and emptying partial harvest nets Assisting with shaking prawns into the cod end of harvest nets Preparing nets for lifting into harvest bins Supporting daily harvest operations across the farm Working in ponds for most of your shift Working safely in all weather conditions, including heat and wet weather What can you bring?

Current C Class Driver's Licence Ability to swim Reliable and punctual work ethic Good physical fitness and ability to perform manual work Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions Who will thrive in this role? This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being active, doesn't mind getting wet and working outdoors, and takes pride in contributing to a successful harvest.
