Remote Inspector II - Structural Part Time

This is a non-exempt position, which is technical work responsible for the inspection/plan review of building construction plans, alterations, or repairs for compliance with Florida Building Code, laws and regulations for building and licensing.  The employee in this classification involves the review and disposition of applications and plans for building permits to ensure that all such construction meets the required standards of the Florida Building Code, National Fire Protection Association, Americans with Disabilities Act, City of Plantation Ordinance and all related codes as to construction, maintenance, safety and conformance.
