Traffic Engineer

The purpose of this position is to manage the planning, design, and implementation of traffic improvements to ensure efficient and safe movement of people and goods within the county.

Key responsibilities include

conducting traffic studies, analyzing data, designing traffic control systems, coordinating with stakeholders, preparing reports, and overseeing traffic-related construction and maintenance projects to improve roadway safety and mobility. This class works independently, under limited supervision, reporting major activities through periodic meetings.
