Job description
SUMMARY The Production Associate supports manufacturing operations by performing lay-up, material handling, inspection, and documentation activities. This role works across multiple production areas to ensure product quality, accurate material tracking, and safe, efficient workflow.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Perform lay-up of prepreg materials to build laminate products. Operate production equipment including sheeters, drills, press support equipment, and material handling tools. Inspect materials and perform basic measurements and testing as required. Maintain material traceability and complete production documentation. Enter production data into Oracle and label, bag, and stage materials.
Clean equipment, clean rooms, and work areas per manufacturing procedures. Support press, setup, breakdown, and quality operations as needed. Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE. All other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or GED required. Manufacturing experience preferred but not required. Ability to follow written instructions and work in a team environment. Basic computer and data entry skills. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and stand for extended periods. Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English is required.
SAFETY REQUIREMENTS Manufacturing environment with varying temperatures. Overtime, including weekends or extended shifts, may be required based on business needs. Steel-toed shoes are required. PHYSICIAL/ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS The physical and environmental demands described here are representative of those required to perform the essential functions of this job safely and effectively.
