- Biology Job Description: Student Lab Assistants are responsible for assisting the lab coordinator with the set up and breakdown of Microbiology and/or Anatomy and Physiology labs. Daily tasks include wipe down benchtops, change bench paper, sterilize safety glasses, clean and put away any used materials, re-fill water and ethanol bottles, replace empty glove boxes, wash glassware and put away, set up anatomy models on benchtops, assist in preparing microbiology reagents.
Requirements
Candidate must be a currently enrolled student at Mercer University . Majoring and/or minoring in Biology or a closely related field is a plus. Previous lab experience is strongly preferred. Pay rate starts at $10.80/hour. Scheduled Hours: 15 Start Date: 08/11/2025 End Date: 05/8/2026
