Senior IT Infrastructure Technical Specialist

Job Title To ensure the accurate collection, tracking, and maintenance of departmental data and documentation under general supervision, contributing to the efficient execution of routine processes and supporting the team in achieving strategic objectives. Principal Responsibilities: Site Digital Operations Leadership

• Serve as the primary onsite intake and demand coordination point for Digital Operations needs in Bogota
• Listen to local requirements, clarify underlying business need, and route engagement to appropriate enterprise Digital Operations, Infrastructure, Security, Endpoint or Engineering Applications teams
• Act as the local interface between engineering leadership and global Digital Operations delivery teams
• Translate local operational needs into clear, enterprise aligned Digital service requests, actions and follow up items supporting engineering delivery requirements
• Improve responsiveness and clarity of Digital support and service pathways for onsite users and location leadership
• Provide visible follow up on open issues, local escalations and site impacting Digital Operations activities
• Help reduce escalation temperature locally by providing clear communication, structured coordination and timely status updates to site leadership
• Reinforce use of approved Digital Operations channels, standards and escalation paths rather than locally created support processes or technology solutions
• Help reduce dependency on multi layer vendor escalation chains through direct engagement coordination, while ensuring accountability remains with the appropriate enterprise teams and service owners
• Provide hands on support when required for urgent onsite needs, backup coverage or basic workplace technology activities
• Support a consistent, enterprise aligned Digital Operations presence in Bogota without creating local standalone solutions, shadow I.T., or unmanaged technology workarounds Engineering Workspace Enablement
• Support adoption of approved remote engineering workspace and 3D design capabilities while discouraging unmanaged local alternatives such as PC farms or site specific workarounds
• Coordinate with infrastructure and engineering application teams to support workspace performance and access readiness
• Assist location with onboarding to approved remote engineering environments
• Support communication of engineering workspace access pathways in business aligned language End User Services & Workspace Readiness
• Support endpoint readiness for engineering workforce onboarding and growth programs
• Coordinate with Service Desk, Infrastructure teams, Identity and Endpoint Management teams to resolve user impacting issues
• Assist with conference room and collaboration environment readiness coordination
• Support moves, expansions, and workspace transitions aligned with location growth plans Infrastructure Coordination & Smart Hands Support
• Provide local coordination and smarthands support for server room, edge infrastructure, and workplace technology environments under direction from the accountable enterprise teams
• Support execution of infrastructure refresh activities and vendor delivered onsite work
• Coordinate on site execution with globally distributed infrastructure and Digital Operations delivery teams supporting engineering workspace and workplace technology services.
• Provide escalation visibility and progress tracking for site infrastructure initiatives Inventory Visibility & Onboarding Scale Support
• Support alignment between workforce growth forecasting and endpoint readiness expectations
• Maintain awareness of local device inventory posture and safety stock readiness levels supporting workforce ramp planning and engineering onboarding scale expectations.
• Coordinate with lifecycle and asset teams supporting device provisioning and availability
• Assist leadership with visibility into onboarding readiness risks affecting engineering ramp up plans Service Provider Coordination
• Support coordination of third party onsite service providers delivery workplace and infrastructure services
• Improve responsiveness of onsite delivery through structured engagement with service partners
• Escalate delivery gaps affecting engineering productivity or onboarding readiness
• Help ensure provider execution aligns with enterprise Digital Operations expectations.
• Provide visible follow up on provider led activities to reduce escalation friction and improve local confidence in Digital Operations delivery Business Continuity Coordination
• Support execution readiness for local business continuity activation procedures
• Serve as a designated local coordination resource supporting continuity planning activities
• Assist with cross training continuity backup coverage aligned with site resilience expectations Operational Support & Continuous Improvement
• Identify recurring issues affecting workplace technology performance or onboarding readiness
• Provide structured feedback to Digital Operations leadership supporting service improvement planning
• Support adoption of standardized Digital engagement pathways at the site level ensuring alignment with global standards and service delivery expectations across the Americas.
• Contribute to improving user experience across workplace technology services
• Reinforce use of approved Digital Operations channels, standards, and escalation paths rather than locally created support processes or technology solutions Health, Safety & Compliance
• Demonstrate commitment to health, safety and compliance requirements applicable to the office or site environment.
• Follow company processes for security, asset management, access, and technology handling.
• Complete all required site or office inductions and work in accordance with local HSE expectations.

What you will bring

Skills & Experience Required

• 8+ years of relevant experience, including leadership/management roles
• Experience supporting enterprise end user services or infrastructure coordination within a business environment
• Experience working directly with local location leadership and business stakeholders
• Strong understanding of workplace technology environments including endpoints, identity coordination, collaboration tools, and infrastructure dependencies
• Experience coordinating onsite execution with global delivery teams
• Ability to operate independently in a site facing Digital Operations role
• Strong bilingual communication capability in Spanish and English supporting effective engagement with local leadership and globally distributed Digital Operations teams. Preferred
• Experience supporting engineering or project delivery environments
• Experience supporting remote engineering workspace delivery models
• Experience coordinating infrastructure refresh or edge site technology environments
• Experience working with managed service providers supporting on site IT delivery
