Director of Communications

The Director of Communications will lead the University's strategic communications efforts across external, internal and marketing channels. The position serves as the primary liaison to media outlets while overseeing internal communications and marketing content development. This role will focus on building and maintaining relationships with journalists, identifying newsworthy stories, developing compelling messaging, and executing communication strategies that strengthen Lander University's reputation.

Responsibilities include

earned media, executive and campus communications, website and newsletter content, email campaigns, and marketing materials that support institutional goals.
