Technical Lead – GenAI & Cloud Engineering

Location: Stockholm, Sweden Work Arrangement: Hybrid (On-site 3 Days per Week) Employment Type: Full-Time (FTE) Experience Required: 5-10 Years Language Requirement: Swedish (Mandatory), Any nationality can apply We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead – GenAI & Cloud Engineering to lead the design, architecture, and delivery of cloud-native and AI-powered solutions.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in GCP, Big. Query, Python, FastAPI, OpenAI API integration, and Generative AI technologies along with proven experience leading engineering teams and driving technical decisions. This role requires a combination of technical leadership, solution architecture, backend engineering, cloud technologies, and AI integration experience to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership & Architecture Own the end-to-end technical architecture and solution design for complex projects. Lead and mentor engineering teams and provide technical guidance. Drive technical decision-making, technology selection, and implementation approaches. Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews, and technical assessments.

Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and cross-functional teams. Cloud Engineering (GCP & Big. Query) Design and build cloud-native applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Develop and optimize Big. Query solutions for analytics and data processing workloads. Integrate cloud services with applications, APIs, and data platforms.

Implement cloud security, monitoring, access management, and deployment best practices. Optimize cloud performance, scalability, and resource utilization. Python & API Development Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Python. Build and support RESTful APIs using FastAPI. Integrate backend services with databases, cloud services, external platforms, and AI models.

Implement authentication, logging, testing, monitoring, and API documentation. Troubleshoot and optimize application performance. Generative AI & OpenAI Integration Design and implement AI-powered applications and Generative AI solutions. Integrate OpenAI APIs and other Large Language Models (LLMs) into enterprise applications.

Develop AI-driven workflows and automation capabilities. Evaluate and implement appropriate AI integration patterns. Ensure AI solutions meet security, scalability, reliability, and performance requirements. Software Delivery & Engineering Excellence Oversee the complete software development lifecycle from design to production support.

Support version control, CI/CD, testing, deployment, and release management practices. Identify technical risks and provide mitigation strategies. Ensure alignment between technical delivery and business goals.
