Job description
The Housing Inspector is responsible for conducting housing inspections as needed to assure that all housing units comply with Housing and Urban Development (HUD) guidelines regarding housing quality standards, state, and local requirements. A property inspector will conduct a visual inspection of the building, including its foundation and roof, heating and cooling systems, plumbing fixtures, and interior and exterior walls, as well as the surrounding land.
This position reports to the Housing Services Manager.
