Job description
Responsible for multi-plan contractual purchases and inventory control through establishing a corporate-wide vendor network and inventory control system, preparing cost spreadsheets, creating presentations, completing vendor review evaluations, and researching new external partners. Utilizes knowledge of Butterball systems to enable total visibility to all operational facilities from a single location.
Uses forecasts to set up, monitor, and maintain multi-plan contractual purchase orders that facilitate individual locations release of plant packaging and ingredient needs. Sets up vendor qualification information to be fed into appropriate systems and ensures all regulatory and internal documentation is received prior to materials being received.
