Role Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Analytical Intern to support a large-scale data annotation and quality operations project for a leading global retailer. The role involves working closely with the internal consulting team to ensure high-accuracy data labelling, vendor governance, SOP implementation, and efficient operational delivery.

1. Data Annotation & Quality Control

• Perform high-accuracy data annotation for product matching, search relevance, and data discovery tasks on e-Commerce sites.
• Validate product attributes, variants, and discrepancies across product pages.
• Conduct Level 2 QA checks for complex & critical cases.

1. Vendor Management & Governance

• Coordinate daily with vendor teams on throughput, queries, escalations, and SOP clarifications.
• Track vendor accuracy, volume delivery, and SLA adherence.

1. Calibration & SOP Management

• Assist in calibration sessions with internal teams and vendors—compile cases, analyse discrepancies, and document clarifications.
• Maintain and update SOPs, ensuring rule adherence across teams.
• Assist in identifying process gaps and contributing to root-cause analyses.

1. Reporting & Stakeholder Support

• Prepare weekly reports covering accuracy, volume trends, RCA summaries, and operational risks.
• Track accuracy metrics and provide data-driven insights for process improvement.
• Communicate findings clearly with internal stakeholders.

1. Operational Ownership

• Monitor daily workflows to ensure smooth execution and timely completion.
• Identify edge cases, recurring patterns, and accuracy risks proactively.
• Support internal quality initiatives, audits, and data clean-up exercises.

Requirements

Qualifications Must-Have Strong analytical ability with high attention to detail. Comfortable working with large datasets and structured SOPs. Strong written communication skills, especially for explaining data discrepancies. Ability to maintain consistency and accuracy in repetitive tasks. Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets (filters, lookups preferred).

Basic understanding of e-Commerce domain. Good-to-Have Exposure to data annotation, QA, cataloguing, or e-commerce operations. Familiarity with dashboards (Power BI/Tableau) or QA methodologies. Understanding of digital retail, product catalogues, or search systems. Personal Attributes Detail-driven, structured, and quality-focused.

Proactive, ownership-oriented, and comfortable in fast-paced operations. Clear communicator with strong problem-solving skills. Team player with a willingness to learn and adapt quickly.
