Role Summary
We are seeking strong Platform Engineers to help build and modernize scalable enterprise workflow and orchestration platforms. The role focuses on designing foundational platform capabilities, reusable constructs, distributed architectures, and scalable engineering systems. The ideal candidate should be passionate about platform engineering, system design, refactoring, scalability, and building reusable core capabilities rather than only feature-level development.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and build reusable platform capabilities and foundational services
- Develop scalable backend and orchestration components
- Contribute to workflow engine modernization and platform architecture
- Refactor and optimize existing platform components
- Build resilient and distributed system capabilities
- Collaborate with architects and engineering leads on platform strategy
- Improve performance, scalability, and operational reliability
- Contribute to containerization and cloud-native engineering initiatives Requirements
- Strong backend engineering experience (Java / Python / Node.js preferred)
- Strong understanding of system design and architecture fundamentals
- Strong understanding of distributed systems
- Knowledge of event-driven and scalable architecture concepts
- Experience in reusable framework and platform development
- Refactoring and modernization experience
- API and integration design expertise
- Performance optimization and scalability improvements
- Experience with Docker and containerization
- Understanding of AWS and cloud-native concepts
- Knowledge of CI/CD and engineering automation practices Preferred Skills
- Experience with workflow and orchestration systems
- Exposure to ECS / Kubernetes
- Understanding of observability and monitoring concepts
- Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Experience in platform modernization initiatives
