Who you are
We’re looking for a technical problem-solver with excellent communication skills who enjoys working closely with customers. This role is ideal for someone with a background in development or consulting. While you won’t be doing hands-on coding, you should be comfortable reading and interpreting code. Prior MongoDB experience is a plus, but we’ll provide training using MongoDB’s internal resources.
What you bring:
- Strong analytical and diagnostic skills
- Motivation to manage both technical and customer-facing tasks
- Confidence presenting and collaborating with customers
- 5+ years of experience in software development, consulting, or support, across various industries
- Familiarity with software architectures, deployment, and operations
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, C++, C#, Python, Node.js, etc.)
- Experience with databases (MongoDB, Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL)
- Familiarity with Linux; Windows tuning knowledge is a plus
- Fluency in English is a must, proficiency in any other language is a plus. What you’ll do:
- Solve technical problems and implement MongoDB deployments
- Plan and follow through on consulting tasks from start to finish
- Work with architects, developers, and operations teams to deliver training
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful project delivery
- Identify opportunities or risks and communicate them to management Success measures:
