Director, Supply Chain & Operations Supply Salary Band: $170,000 - $210,000 Travel: 10% The Director, Supply Chain & Operations is a strategic and operational leader responsible for advancing supply chain strategies, operational supply programs, and business solutions supporting the McDonald’s business . The Director serves as a trusted business partner and subject matter leader, translating business needs into actionable supply chain strategies while ensuring strong execution across complex, highly visible initiatives.

This individual will lead and develop team members, establish priorities and performance expectations, and foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and operational excellence. What You’ll Do Strategic Supply Chain Leadership Provide strategic leadership and direction for Supply Chain and Operations Supply initiatives supporting the McDonald’s system .

Develop and advance strategies that improve supply continuity, operational effectiveness, cost efficiency, supplier performance, and long-term System readiness. Identify emerging risks, opportunities, and operational needs and proactively develop solutions and contingency plans. Serve as a strategic advisor to leadership on supply chain matters, operational challenges, supplier capabilities, and opportunities for improvement.

People Leadership & Development Lead, coach, and develop team members while creating clarity around priorities, expectations, accountability, and performance. Create an environment where team members are empowered to make decisions, surface challenges, collaborate across functions, and take ownership of results. Promote a team-first mindset focused on shared goals, shared accountability, and collective success.

Foster a culture of curiosity, continuous improvement, high-quality work, and proactive problem-solving. Operations Supply & Program Management Provide leadership and oversight for operational supply programs and initiatives that support restaurant and Field needs. Ensure programs are effectively planned, communicated, implemented, measured, and continuously improved.

Drive standardization and process improvements that strengthen execution and create scalable solutions across the System. Support the development and implementation of new programs , products, processes, and operational solutions. You’ll Thrive Here If You... Naturally take ownership and create clarity in complex or ambiguous situations. Are skilled at influencing stakeholders and building alignment without relying solely on formal authority. Use data, financial insights, and sound judgment to make informed decisions. Build trusted relationships across different functions , organizations, and levels of leadership.

Are comfortable challenging existing processes and asking how they can be improved. Communicate complex information clearly and effectively to both operational and executive audiences. Develop others and create an environment where team members are empowered and accountable. What You’ll Bring Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management , Operations, Business Administration, Logistics, Procurement, or a related discipline; advanced degree preferred.

Approximately 10+ years of progressive experience in supply chain, operations, logistics , procurement, strategic sourcing, or a related field. Previous people leadership experience with a demonstrated ability to coach, develop, and build high-performing teams. Strong understanding of supply chain strategy, operational execution, supplier management, performance measurement, and risk mitigation.

Demonstrated ability to use financial and operational data to evaluate performance and support business decisions. Strong project and program management capabilities with experience managing multiple high-priority initiatives simultaneously. Executive-level communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate complex information into clear recommendations.
