Job Title: Travel Instrument Technician (Sterile Processing) Compensation: $20-$22/hr Location : Canton, GA 30115 Contract Length: 13-Week Contract Shift : 8-Hour Evening Shift | Monday – Friday | 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM Guaranteed Hours : 40 Hours Per Week HRfor. Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Travel Instrument Technician to join a Sterile Processing Department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for decontaminating, inspecting, assembling, sterilizing, and distributing surgical instruments while maintaining the highest standards of infection prevention and patient safety.

Key Responsibilities

Decontaminate, clean, inspect, assemble, and sterilize surgical instruments Operate sterilization equipment and monitor sterilization cycles Inspect instruments for cleanliness, function, and damage Prepare surgical instrument trays according to procedure requirements Maintain inventory of sterile supplies and instruments Follow infection prevention and sterile processing standards Document sterilization records accurately Collaborate with operating room staff to ensure instrument availability Maintain a clean and organized work environment Comply with facility safety and quality standards Minimum Qualifications Minimum 2 years of recent Sterile Processing/Instrument Technician experience Experience reprocessing surgical instruments Knowledge of sterilization techniques and infection prevention practices Previous travel experience is a bonus HSPA (Healthcare Sterile Processing Association) certification Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment About HRfor.
