Purchasing Agent

Responsible for purchasing of components and parts of Natural Gas Compressor packages. Primary focus on CAT engines, Ariel compressors available from industry suppliers. Specific functions: Researching products and comparing prices Assessing the quality and reliability of potential suppliers Soliciting bids from potential suppliers Tracking purchases and shipments Reviewing requisition forms, including the vendor, dates of approval and product quantity Work with F&A and Operations to cost AFE's and work orders; track AFE spend, reconcile AFE at project close Forecasting inventory requirements Administering vendor contracts, including drafting and following up on those needing renewal
