SEN Teaching Assistant – Secondary School – Vauxhall – Permanent

A secondary school in Vauxhall, Lambeth is looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs across the school. This is a good fit for someone who can support pupils without needing constant direction. This is a permanent position starting in September 2026. This role is ideal for someone who can support learning, manage pupil relationships professionally and help students access the classroom without adding pressure to teachers.

What the role involves:

• Supporting pupils with SEN, EHCPs, ASD or SEMH needs
• Working across lessons with teachers and support staff
• Helping pupils stay focused and regulated
• Providing consistent classroom and small group support What they are looking for:
• School-based support experience or strong transferable experience
• A calm, mature and reliable approach
• Confidence supporting secondary-aged pupils
