Cleaning Operative – Medical Unit (Asda Inverness)

Location: Medical Unit, Asda Inverness, Ivanhoe Avenue, Inverness, IV2 6BZ Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour (PAYE) Start Date: 9th August 2026 End Date: 24th August 2026 Hours: 12 hours per week Shift: 6:00pm – 8:00pm Working Days: Monday to Friday and Sunday (No work on Saturdays) Contract Type: Temporary Job Overview We are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Cleaning Operative to work at a medical unit located within Asda Inverness.

This temporary role runs from 9th August to 24th August 2026 and involves maintaining a clean, safe and hygienic healthcare environment to a high standard. You will work independently for 2-hour shifts across six days each week.

Key Responsibilities

General cleaning of the medical unit Sweeping, mopping and vacuuming floors Cleaning treatment rooms, staff areas and communal areas Cleaning washrooms and replenishing consumables Emptying bins and disposing of waste safely Following all health and safety and infection control procedures Reporting any maintenance or health and safety concerns Candidate Requirements Previous commercial cleaning experience is preferred Experience cleaning healthcare or medical environments is advantageous Reliable, punctual and able to work independently Excellent attention to detail Available to work from 9th August to 24th August 2026 Able to work Monday to Friday and Sunday from 6:00pm to 8:00pm Right to work in the UK If you're looking for a part-time temporary cleaning role with an immediate start, we'd love to hear from you.
