Job Description Summary: The Cybersecurity Analyst is responsible for protecting the organization's IT infrastructure, data, and systems by implementing, monitoring, and improving cybersecurity measures. This role supports security operations, threat detection, incident response, and user awareness programs to ensure a strong security posture across on-premise and cloud environments.
Job Description: Security Operations & Monitoring Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM tools to detect suspicious activities and potential threats Collaborate with the Security Operations Center (SOC) to respond to, investigate, and mitigate cybersecurity incidents Vulnerability Management & Testing Conduct and collaborate Vulnerability Assessments and Penetration Testing (VAPT) activities Review and evaluate patching status, vulnerabilities, and associated risks Recommend remediation actions and track closure of security gaps Security Implementation & Support Deploy, configure, and support cybersecurity solutions such as: Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR) Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Email Security, and etc Support cloud security implementation across platforms such as Azure, AWS, or others Threat Intelligence & Analysis Collect and analyze threat intelligence from open and proprietary sources Correlate threat data with internal systems to identify potential risks Stay updated on emerging cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and attack techniques Incident Response & Investigation Collaborate and investigate security breaches, intrusion attempts, and hacking incidents Support incident response activities Security Awareness & Compliance Support cybersecurity awareness programs, including phishing simulations and training Assist in audits, compliance reviews, and policy enforcement Job Requirement : Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field 2–5 years of experience in cybersecurity, IT security, or related role Experience in SOC environment or incident response is preferred Hands-on experience with Security Information and Event Management ( SIEM ), Endpoint Detection & Response ( EDR), Data Loss Prevention ( DLP ), Vulnerability Assessment tools Having Knowledge of network and security technologies (Firewall, VPN, IDS/IPS, Email Security) Familiarity with cloud security (Azure, AWS, etc.)
Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST) Ability to identify and analyze phishing and social engineering attempts Having Certifications in CompTIA Security+, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), CISSP, CISM, or CISA (advantage), Cloud Security certifications Experience with automation or scripting (Python, Power.
