Title: Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) Location: Manhattan Shelter ACT Team Salary + Benefits:
- $85–$100 per hour
- Part-time: 3 days per week (approximately 21 hours)
- Flexible schedule (8:00 AM–4:00 PM or 9:00 AM–5:00 PM)

- No on-call responsibilities Responsibilities of Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner:
- Conduct initial psychiatric evaluations for adult patients (primarily ages 18+)
- Manage and monitor a monthly caseload of approximately 34 patients
- Provide psychiatric care as part of an ACT (Assertive Community Treatment) team
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support patient stability and treatment goals
- Document all clinical encounters accurately using the Foothold Awards EMR system
- Participate in team meetings twice per week at the Manhattan location
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a shelter-based setting Requirements of Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner:
- Active New York State PMHNP license
- Board certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
- Eligible for and able to obtain DEA registration
- Experience working with adult psychiatric populations preferred
- Open to new graduates with prior psychiatric RN experience
- Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and communication skills
