About the role

Join our team as a Mining Supervisor where you’ll have an integral role in shaping our future. You provide statutory supervision of mining activities to ensure compliance with NSW mining regulations, while fostering a strong safety and Values-driven team culture. You’ll lead a team of Underground Operators, coordinating daily operations to meet production targets, while safety and production are optimised.

Strong leadership, communication and on-the-ground problem-solving skills will be essential as you drive continuous improvement to support the success of our mining team. Roster: 7/7, 12 hours per day (Rotating D/N Shift) Location: Peak Mine, Cobar NSW Travel options Residents enjoy a balanced roster and the opportunity to settle into the family-friendly township of Cobar.

Relocation support is available, along with a residential allowance DIDO if you live within an 800km radius of the Mine site which includes a travel allowance FIFO from Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne Qualifications and experience Current NSW Metalliferous Underground Mine Supervisor Certificate At least 7 years relevant mining experience Strong people leadership experience Current C Class manual driver’s licence Strong safety focus and commitment to visible safety leadership Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to lead and support a team Demonstrated care for people and commitment to their development MAKE AN IMPACT, GET RECOGNISED – BE AN AURELIAN At Aurelia Metals, our people are at the heart of everything we do.
