  • Administration Work Shift: Day Work Days: MON-FRI Scheduled Hours: 8:30 AM-5 PM Scheduled Daily Hours: 7.5 HOURS Pay Range: $116,000.00-$145,000.00 Administrative Nursing Supervisor The Administrative Nursing Supervisor is responsible for providing administrative and clinical leadership across assigned nursing units and services. This role ensures safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care through effective staffing coordination, operational oversight, and adherence to organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory standards. The Supervisor serves as a clinical and administrative resource for nursing staff and interdisciplinary teams and supports hospital-wide initiatives to improve patient outcomes and operational performance.

Key Responsibilities

Provide administrative and clinical oversight of nursing operations during assigned shifts Coordinate staffing, patient flow, and resource allocation to ensure safe and effective patient care Serve as a leadership resource for nursing staff, addressing clinical, operational, and personnel concerns Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including Joint Commission, CMS, and NYS Department of Health standards Support quality improvement, patient safety, and risk management initiatives Facilitate communication and collaboration among nursing leadership, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams Respond to and manage urgent clinical or operational issues, including incident reporting and escalation as needed Participate in audits, documentation review, and regulatory readiness activities Minimum Requirements Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s degree preferred Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New York Minimum of five (5) years of recent clinical nursing Home Care experience, with supervisory or leadership experience preferred Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Demonstrated ability to manage staffing, patient flow, and competing priorities Proficiency with electronic health records and basic computer applications Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as required Montefiore Medical Center is an equal employment opportunity employer.
