Design the future of food production facilities. JBT Marel is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Layout Engineer to join our team in Helsingborg, Sweden. In this role, you will play a key part in designing customer factory layouts for freezer projects, supporting both sales and engineering teams in delivering high-quality, technically accurate solutions.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—including our colleagues in Boxmeer—to ensure layouts meet customer needs, technical requirements, and operational efficiency standards. What you’ll be doing Create and develop 2D factory layouts for customer freezer projects Coordinate with Sales and Proposal teams to produce layout drawings and models for bids and customer presentations Integrate JBT Marel freezers and related auxiliary equipment into customer factory layouts Interpret technical drawings, P&IDs, and specifications to ensure accurate design outputs Collaborate with engineering, project, and commercial teams to refine layouts and optimize solutions Ensure designs align with customer requirements, industry standards, and internal guidelines About You You are a structured and technically skilled professional who enjoys turning complex requirements into clear, practical designs.
