JOB DESCRIPTION Role Definition Evaluates organisational business risks, develops and communicates audit plan, manages and executes audits, and recommends improvements to internal controls and operating processes.
Responsibilities
Plan and conduct risk-based audits on business operations including reviewing the effectiveness of internal controls and compliance to policies and procedures. Partner with internal stakeholders at all levels to identify audit findings and make value-added recommendations covering business process optimisation, financial, internal control and compliance to mitigate overall exposure to potential risks.
Assist with special investigations and reviews as required. Keep updated with internal control audit trends to ensure audit processes remain effective. Other Attributes Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, accounting or equivalent. Professional qualifications such as CIA will be advantageous. 10 - 12 Years of risk-based internal audit experience within an asset or investment management firm or Big 4 accounting firms specialising in private funds and alternate asset management audit At least 6 years experience performing or leading investigations.
