What you’ll be doing: The Health Center Training Specialist (HCTS) reports to the Clinical Staff Training Manager and provides standardized, on-the-job training for health center-based staff with a focus on new Clinic Assistants (CA) involved in patient care.

The HCTS partners with the Health Center Manager and clinician(s) to facilitate a smooth transition for new staff from the training environment to the Health Center. The HCTS supports the development of health-center related training curricula, participates in training of Advanced Clinic Assistant Trainers, and assures compliance with PPFA Standards and Guidelines as well as all other agency policies.

HCTS facilitate the implementation of process changes to accomplish improved outcomes in patient satisfaction, quality of care, and health center productivity. PLEASE NOTE: This position will start IN-PERSON and train in the New Haven Health Center. Once introductory period is complete, the position will be hybrid and traveling to support new health center staff.
