Job description
We are seeking a Human Resources Manager to support and strengthen our global HR function, partnering with leadership to drive talent development, compensation administration, performance management, employee relations, and employee engagement initiatives. This role will play a key part in building and maintaining scalable HR programs and processes while fostering a positive, high-performance culture within a growing organization.
Location U.S. (Sunnyvale, CA – 501 Mercury Drive) – Onsite five days per week.
Key Responsibilities
Assume global HR responsibilities across ML Group, guide and support the Nanjing HR team, and cooperate with the Nanjing headquarters HRD to optimize and improve the group’s overall HR system and institutional construction. Oversee full-spectrum HR work for all overseas BUs, build and implement a global HR management system adapted to international business development.
Partner with overseas BU leaders to align HR strategies with business objectives and support efficient overseas business operation and growth. Manage core HR functions including organization design, workforce & succession planning, talent acquisition, performance management, talent development and employee relations. Lead regional HR teams, establish cross-regional collaboration mechanisms to ensure standardized, compliant and unified global HR operations.
Handle overseas special HR affairs such as cross-border employment compliance, visa administration and cross-cultural team management. Oversee performance management processes, employee development and leadership training programs. Ensure full compliance with local and international employment laws, formulate and iterate scalable global HR policies and procedures.
Drive employee engagement, retention and recognition initiatives, and analyze HR data to provide effective support for business decision-making. Serve as a trusted advisor for managers and employees on employee relations, workplace conflict resolution and daily HR consultations. Balance strategic HR layout and daily operational work to empower the company’s global business expansion.
Maintain efficient collaboration with global stakeholders and travel to overseas sites including China, Thailand and Scotland to share HR best practices. This role includes the responsibilities outlined above as well as other duties as reasonably assigned to support business needs and operational priorities.
